Numbers

Sullivan Forehand and Henry Wadsworth were sons in law and employees of Ethan Allen. Upon Allens death in 1871, the took over the Company as Forehand & Wadsworth. In 1890 Wadsworth retired and it became Forehand Arms Co. They made both Single and Double shotguns, the quality being about that of Stevens, along with a few Higher grade models. Forehand and Wadsworth (Forehand Arms) was in business from 1871 to 1902. Unfortunately, there are no serial number records for this company that has been closed for 116 years. Jan 11, 2011 Forehand Arms was the successor company to Forehand & Wadsworth. They were in operation from 1890 to 1902. Not aware of any serial number database for them.
